the alt key unlocks hidden potential!
on grid: the bottom-left key
on norns: K1
hold alt to map a gesture or change to all pads in a bank.
for example:
on [levels], hold alt to uniformly raise/lower volume of all the pads playing in a bank's pattern. this gives the effect of fading in a track, though you are actually fading in 16 unique pads.
on [filters], set different filter cutoffs for each pad. then, hold alt and increase or decrease the cutoff frequency. each pad's filter cutoff frequency will raise/lower uniformly, so you can retain the unique distance between each pad.
