first light: norns study 0 livestream

first light is a norns script by brian crabtree, made specifically for musicians to edit.

this video is cut from two livestream sessions where participants walked through different elements of the script and adjusted the code to meet their musical needs. nearly everybody who attended had never touched code before, which led to a rich exploration that covered not only norns-specific concepts, but creative scaffolding that can be applied to any environment.
